The perfect place to purchase handmade local Christmas gifts, organic and seasonal produce and to enjoy the festivities, sights and aromas of a traditional Christmas market.
The Parade in Kilkenny has been transformed into a magical Winter Wonderland with brightly decorated cabins housing a variety of traders selling a range of Christmas gifts, seasonal food and stocking fillers. Christmas gifts for sale include cashmere hats and scarf’s, jewellery, children’s handmade wooden toys, woodturned lamps, slate creations and Christmas decorations. There are also traders selling seasonal food including Knockdrinna Cheese and Indulge bakery while the market is the perfect place to relax and have a delicious Belgian hot chocolate or a venison burger!
The markets are open from 10.30am Thursday to Sunday until December 23rd with FREE activities including the Nore Valley Mobile Farm on Saturdays from 11am to 4pm, Mrs. Claus Storytelling in her Cabin Saturday & Sundays and lots more. The Christmas Market is also taking part in the St.Vincent De Paul Toy Appeal. You can bring unwrapped and new presents with you to our collection point where the toys will be distributed as part of the National campaign.
