This year’s Fair will showcase the best artisan food, craft and distinctive giftware, from over 25 award winning craftmakers and food producers from the South East. So, if you’re looking for that extra special gift for the foodie or craft lover in your life, a trip to Kilkenny’s Christmas Fair is a must!

A highlight of Fair 2011 is our beautiful old style Victorian carousel, which is sure to be a hit with the young and young at heart! This year, we’ve also added a performance stage, which will be jam-packed at the weekends with entertainment provided by our best loved local choirs and bands.

Our Food Court marquee will provide space to put down the shopping bags and rest those weary bones, while sampling the best gourmet coffees and treats from the Fair.

Festive Family Fun

A great place to visit for all the family, there really is something for everyone at Christmas Fair 2011. Younger visitors can take a ride on the beautiful Victorian Carousel, enjoy facepainters and balloon artists or get their picture taken with Santy; while Mum or Dad can browse for gifts, or enjoy some warming artisan fare in the Food Court.

The family can then choose to visit Santy’s Kingdom only 2 minutes away at the Ormonde Hotel, or take a trip to Kilkenny On Ice at Cillin Hill on the outskirts of the City.
